Bratenstein started recording music in 2007. His music is a mixture of electronic and acoustic sounds, often mixed up with movie quotes. He has performed live as a street musician in Hamburg and on some rare occasions he was seen on stage. His musical approach is based on live improvisation with only little editing. Bratenstein is currently located in Wendland, Germany.
